GTA 6 Fans Think Rockstar's Excuse For Firing Devs Is Sus

Grand Theft Auto 6 players have been on high alert lately with possible announcements preceding the November 6 Take-Two call, but one major distraction keeping them busy has been the recent firings of Rockstar employees.

In response to union-busting allegations against Rockstar after dozens of employees were laid off in recent weeks, the studio claims that the firings were a result of employees "leaking company secrets" and had nothing to do with attempts at unionizing. If that's the case, GTA 6 fans such as TheRealLuan are asking, "Where's the info?"

Thus far, the exact nature of these reported leaks has yet to be revealed, but in a Bloomberg report, Jason Schreier states that "they are referring to people talking about work in a union Discord, not big leaks about GTA 6."

Rockstar's supposed explanation for firing dozens of employees earlier this year being related to leaking company secrets is a little too convenient for many GTA 6 fans (via Reddit), many of whom aren't buying it. Rockstar employees leaking secrets is a huge problem, but on the flip side, Rockstar stands accused of union busting, an accusation they clearly can't ignore.
