Despite facing some serious problems in the past, Steam Early Access has turned out to be quite the boon for both developers and PC-based players. Developers get immediate feedback and funding for their game, and players get to actively contribute to and have a real say in its development. This makes the 1.0 release of any early access game a big deal for its community, and now it's the Voidtrain community's time to celebrate.
HypeTrain Digital's rail-based adventure into the void will finally see its 1.0 release on November 7, and with it graduate from Steam Early Access. However, much like with Hades II in September, it won't just be PC players who get to enjoy it. HypeTrain Digital just announced that, in addition to the Steam release on PC, Voidtrain will also be available for Xbox Series X|S on Day One via Game Pass. That's at least two games now in almost as many months. So it's not a trend yet, but here's hoping it becomes one.
