We now know which games will be a part of this weekend's Free Play Days event.
On the Xbox Wire, two games were announced for this week's Free Play Days event. This weekend's Free Play Days will begin on April 22nd, and will run through April 25th.
The first game will be Metro: Last Light Redux. Metro: Last Light Redux is the definitive version of Metro: Last Light, rebuilt in the latest iteration of the 4A Engine, bringing to life an atmospheric world running in 60 fps. Gamers will get the chance to experience a story-driven shooter as they go on an epic adventure that combines survival horror, exploration, and tactical combat and stealth.
The second game that will be available for free this weekend is WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship. WRC 9 features realistic gameplay and more content than past entries in the series. This includes three new rallies, thirty five new special stages, the ability to create custom championships, and completely redesigned engine sounds.
For those who wish to keep these games after the weekend is done will be able to do so at a discount. Players will be able to get a 85% discount on Metro: Last Light Redux, and only pay $3. WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship will be 60% off, with the Standard Edition running for $20, and the Deluxe Edition costing $24. The Deluxe Edition will include a new vehicle, a new stage, and a career development boost. Gamers who purchase the games will keep their Gamerscore and and earned achievements during the event. Any DLC purchased this weekend will also roll over for those who buy the games featured this weekend.
Free Play Days is a reoccurring event for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. The event allows gamers to try out titles and purchase them at great discounts.
