Whiskerwood and Egging On are now available on several Xbox Game Pass tiers. These are the fourth and fifth day-one titles to reach the subscription service in November, raising the number of 2025 Xbox Game Pass additions to 194.
Developed by Polish studio Egobounds, Egging On is a physics-based platformer starring an egg. Many of the game’s challenges stem from the inherently fragile relationship between eggs and gravity, requiring players to navigate a wide range of environments with precise platforming. Whiskerwood, meanwhile, is the latest title published by indie strategy specialist Hooded Horse. Developed by Japan-based Minakata Dynamics, it’s a city-building game set in a distinctive world where players manage a colony of mice living under the rule of tyrannical cats. Balancing the needs of the mice and the taxation demands of their feline overlords is necessary to survive, expand, and even thrive. The core gameplay loop hinges on complex simulations that wouldn't look out of place in something like RimWorld or Timberborn.
