Digimon Story: Time Stranger received a new update for November 2025. The latest version of the game contains dozens of changes, predominantly fixes for bugs affecting various quest triggers, battle mechanics, and objective markers, among other aspects of Digimon Story: Time Stranger.

The latest Digimon game has been blowing up on Steam since its October 3 release, peaking at nearly 85,000 concurrent players and amassing just under 5,000 "Very Positive" user reviews. With 7,500 reviews on the PlayStation Store, the RPG seems to have gained significant traction on the PS5 as well. Digimon Story: Time Stranger received two patches in its first month on the market.

Another update was released on November 5, launching simultaneously across all versions of the game. The accompanying changelog lists over 40 items, most of which are bug fixes. A significant number address issues with Digimon Story: Time Stranger missions, primarily scripting bugs that blocked progression. The list of fixed quests includes Reunions Bring Trouble, Gathering Storm Clouds, and Resonating Thoughts.
