On the Nintendo website, it was announced that Animal Crossing: New Horizons' next update will be released on April 28th. When the update drops, the in-game season will change. The first event coming to New Horizons in the next few months is May Day. This event will start on April 29th, and will last until May 7th. During this time, players will get a May Day Ticket, which they can us to visit and tour a rather interesting island. However, the ticket can only be used once, so players should plan their trip accordingly.

The second event scheduled for New Horizons is International Museum Day. The International Museum Day event will begin on May 18th, and will run through May 31st. During this event, gamers can participate in the Stamp Rally. After speaking to Blathers and receiving a special stamp card, players will be able to earn stamps by viewing the fish, insect, fossil, and art exhibits in the museum.

The final upcoming event for New Horizons is the Wedding Season. The Wedding Season will begin on June 1st, and will last until June 30th. Since Reese and Cyrus got married last June, they have now made it their tradition to take wedding photos on Harvey's Island every June. Gamers will be able to meet up with them on the island and help take adorable photos. There will also be wedding season-themed furniture and fashion items available in Nook Shopping and the Able Sister's shop.
