Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 publisher Activision has announced a limited-time deal where players can earn 10 hours worth of Double XP tokens, but only if they jump into the shooter before Season 1 rolls around. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is now just days away from launch, and although the release date for its big Season 1 patch remains unknown, Activision says anybody who jumps in before the first major content update will be rewarded with 5 hours of Double XP tokens and 5 hours of Double Weapon XP tokens.

Just like past entries in the franchise, players can expect Double XP to play a major factor in Black Ops 7. Developer Treyarch Studios will likely be hosting plenty of Double XP events over the course of the game's lifecycle, but for those who don't want to wait for these limited-time events to roll around, it's best to stock up on as many Double XP tokens as possible. Although Activision canceled Carry Forward for Black Ops 7, the publisher did confirm that all Double XP tokens earned in Black Ops 6 will still be brought forward to Black Ops 7.
