During an earnings report, Kadokawa revealed new details on the financial success of Elden Ring Nightreign, while also teasing a release window for new DLC. While initially surprising fans by moving away from the traditional action RPG experience, Elden Ring Nightreign adds roguelike elements, allowing up to three players to journey together through a constantly evolving map in an attempt to reach the final boss on the third day.
Since it launched in May, Elden Ring Nightreign has continued to see updates, both to fix and adjust issues with the game, as well as adding new content and events. In fact, FROM Software also recieved plenty of feedback from players and added a dedicated Duo Expeditions mode to Elden Ring Nightreign, better balancing the gameplay around just two people instead of the expected three. However, these quality of life updates were always just the start, as FROM Software parent company Kadokawa spilled the beans on the expected launch window for premium Nightreign DLC.
