A new playlist update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has added one of the franchise's most iconic Multiplayer maps: Nuketown. With today's update, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 now features a total of 4 remastered Black Ops 2 maps, including the 2025 variant of Nuketown, as seen in the 2012 shooter. If that wasn't enough, developer Treyarch Studios has already confirmed that even more remasters are on the way as part of Season 1, the release date of which has yet to be revealed.

As a direct sequel to Black Ops 2, the latest Call of Duty title has tons of throwbacks to the classic shooter, including four remastered maps, iconic weapons such as the MSMC (now known as the MPC-25 in Black Ops 7), and more. Treyarch also plans to give fans some Black Ops 2 maps that have never been remastered before, with the first being Meltdown in Season 1. It will be joined by Standoff, which was remastered once before in Black Ops Cold War. There are also plenty of other maps that haven't been remastered yet that could be added in the future, including Yemen, Plaza, Cargo, and many others.
