Charlie Cleveland, Max McGuire and Ted Gill—the founders of Unknown Worlds Entertainment—claim that Krafton pushed them out of the company to avoid paying a massive compensation package attached to a successful 2025 early access release of Subnautica 2.
The trio is suing Krafton in Delaware's Court of Chancery. The ongoing trial has been marked by a deluge of incriminating accusations from both sides.
In a recent press release, Krafton accused Charlie Cleveland of "racist and sexist characteriations" in personal notes he wrote in preparation for litigation. The company also suggests that Cleveland believes the Delaware court is prejudiced against foreign companies.
"Delaware? Oh, they're f**ked... We just need a list of things from them. We're playing the house's money, and we're the home team. We don't need to worry about these guys or our reputation. History will remember that Krafton was bad," Cleveland's personal notes read.
"Delaware will say this is a bunch of Sadistic Korean assholes (like Samsung - John Pleasance)," Cleveland wrote in a separate passage. "[They're] cast as villains and it's done."
