Modders beware, Baldur's Gate 3's Hotfix #35 has been released by Larian. There isn't a lot of substance to this particular patch, with most of the fixes concerned with performance issues.
Updates have been known to break in-game mods. Those using mods that need the Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender can expect instant crashes until the relevant mods are updated.
Several of the now-resolved performance issues concerned Xbox, PlayStation and Mac. There were also several fixes for Steam Deck users, including improved loading times and VRAM consumption.
There is some frustration among PC players that their mods are being broken by a patch that almost exclusively concerns console and Steam Deck players, but alas.
However, the talking point within the community is what hasn't been addressed by the hotfix. Baldur's Gate 3 has a series of long-standing bugs that have been present in the game since its release in 2023. However, the skeleton crew still working on Baldur's Gate 3 has yet to resolve several of these.
