Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have shared the first gameplay trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. The video reveals a closer look at the story-driven survival horror experience which is currently in development. The expectation is that it will be possible to play it on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2026, though a more specific release date has yet to be provided.
A World of Horrors
In this new Hellraiser story, players assume the role of a brand-new character called Aidan. To save his girlfriend Sunny from Hell, he will have to fight his way through its horrors. His chance of survival lies in a mysterious puzzle box called the Genesis Configuration, which can grant him dark powers to fight back against the hordes that oppose him.
The gameplay features a first-person perspective, forcing the player to face the horrors directly. In this other realm, there are worshipers of the dark cult of the Cenobites, bizarre deviants who draw pleasure from the horrors of the place and other monstrosities.
