Battlefield 6 is free-to-play for a limited time, and the trial period comes at the perfect time to give you a distraction from familial obligations over the long Thanksgiving weekend. The long-awaited first-person shooter is on pace to be the best-selling game of 2025, but a whole week of free access is hoping to rope in even more players.

You can play Battlefield 6 for free starting November 25 until December 2, giving you a whole week to try the game. Playing during BF6's free trial doesn't give you unfettered access to the full game; according to EA, three available playlists have been chosen to ease new players into the Battlefield experience and show them the breadth of content the game offers. All you have to do to play Battlefield 6 for free is download the Battlefield: RedSec client (the battle royale mode), which is already free-to-play. Once you boot RedSec, the free BF6 playlists will be available.
