Battlefield 6 is letting anyone play for free for a limited time, but PlayStation Plus subscribers shouldn't overlook a bonus opportunity. Battlefield Studios' and EA's first-person shooter has been a smashing success, currently on pace to beat Call of Duty in sales this year, and is generally being celebrated as a much-needed return to form for the franchise.
A Reddit post was made as a reminder to PlayStation Plus users checking out Battlefield 6's free trial this week that they can also claim a free cosmetic bundle. If you have an active PS Plus subscription, you can claim the Rogue Ops Pack from the PlayStation Store, which gives you a set of items to use in both Battlefield 6 and its battle royale companion, Battlefield: RedSec. The bundle is free for PlayStation Plus users, and otherwise costs $19.99.
The Rogue Ops Pack isn't necessarily new (it was made available on October 28, according to the PlayStation Store), but Battlefield 6's free trial is, and it's a rare opportunity to grab some free DLC to use for a week – or more, if the trial convinces you to buy the game. BF6 is going free-to-play for a week...
