As the holidays come around, Palworld has released a trailer for their "Home Sweet Home" update, which is set to precede the game's official 1.0 launch in 2026. Included in this free expansion are plenty of new features, including a surprise crossover that most fans might not have expected. This collaboration is certainly the highlight of the update, adding some great content for long-time players to explore.
Currently, any update to Palworld comes with a grain of salt due to the ongoing legal battle their development team, Pocketpair, is going through. Nintendo's ongoing lawsuits against Palworld against the patent rights of several in-game mechanics threaten the creature capturing game's overall structure, forcing them to remove some features here and there. It is unclear whether this will impact any future updates, including Home Sweet Home.
When the Home Sweet Home update goes live, Palworld will have a collaboration with hit indie FPS Ultrakill, the fast-paced action game where blood is fuel. Players can don the appearance of the ultra-violent blue robot V1 or his rival, the red V2, in this expansion, but there are more features beyond some unique costumes.
Several new weapons making it...
