Saints Row: The Third is coming to next-gen consoles.

On the official website for Saints Row: The Third Remastered, it was announced that the game will be coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will release for the consoles on May 25th. This version of the game will be free for all of those who currently own the game. It will allow console players to experience the game at greater performance settings, equivalent to the PC version at High settings. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions will run at 60 fps and dynamic 4k resolution. The Xbox Series S version will give players the option of playing in Performance Mode at 60 fps, or Beauty Mode at 30 fps.

The next-gen version of Saints Row: The Third Remastered will make use of the SSDs in the new consoles in order to offer faster loading times. Plus, by popular request, the DualSense controller will be able to glow purple.

It was also announced that Saints Row: The Third will be released on Good Old Games on May 22nd. This will be the same day that the game will release on Steam, as it was only available on PC through Epic Games.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered features enhanced graphics, improved lighting, reworked environments, and visual effects. It also features all three expansion mission packs, and more than 30 pieces of DLC that were added to the original version of the game. The title gives players control of the Saints at the height of their power, and allows them to live the life to show for it. Steelport is their city, and it runs by their rules.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered is available now for PC through Epic Games, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and the Nintendo Switch.
