We now have details on Pokémon GO's June Community Day.
On the Pokémon GO blog, details for next month's Community Day were released. The event will take place on June 6th, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The star Pokémon of June's Community Day will be the Land Shark Pokémon, Gible. During the event, Gible will appear in the wild more often, with there being a chance to encounter a Shiny one. Those who evolve Gabite (Gible's evolution) during Community Day or up to two hours after will receive a Garchomp that knows the attack Earth Power.
During June's Community Day, there will be a special one-time purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokeCoins. The box will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, five Lucky Eggs, and an Elite Charged TM. For $1, gamers will be able to access the Gible Community Day-exclusive Special Research Story, Just a Nibble. It was noted that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal. Players can also take snapshots during the event for a surprise.
Finally, there will be two bonuses during next month's Community Day. The first is 3x Catch XP, While the second is Incense lasting form three hours if activated during the event.
Part 2 of the ongoing Luminous Legends Y event starts next week. During this event, Sylveon will be making its Pokémon GO debut. Players can evolve Eevee into Sylveon by earning hearts when it is their buddy. Pokémon such as Eevee, Ralts, Spritzee, and Swirlix will appear more often in the wild. Players will be able to hatch Eevee, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Azurill, Spritzee, and Swirlix from 7 km Eggs. Gamers will be able to encounter some of Eevee's Evolutions in three-star raids. There will also be event-exclusive Field Research tasks that will lead into encounters with Eevee and some of its Evolutions.
