The star Pokémon of June's Community Day will be the Land Shark Pokémon, Gible. During the event, Gible will appear in the wild more often, with there being a chance to encounter a Shiny one. Those who evolve Gabite (Gible's evolution) during Community Day or up to two hours after will receive a Garchomp that knows the attack Earth Power.

During June's Community Day, there will be a special one-time purchase Community Day Box available for 1,280 PokeCoins. Players can also take snapshots during the event for a surprise.

Finally, there will be two bonuses during next month's Community Day. The first is 3x Catch XP, While the second is Incense lasting form three hours if activated during the event.

Part 2 of the ongoing Luminous Legends Y event starts next week. During this event, Sylveon will be making its Pokémon GO debut. Players can evolve Eevee into Sylveon by earning hearts when it is their buddy. Pokémon such as Eevee, Ralts, Spritzee, and Swirlix will appear more often in the wild. Players will be able to hatch Eevee, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Azurill, Spritzee, and Swirlix from 7 km Eggs. Gamers will be able to encounter some of Eevee's Evolutions in three-star raids. There will also be event-exclusive Field Research tasks that will lead into encounters with Eevee and some of its Evolutions.
