Stunning Zelda: Ocarina Of Time "Next-Gen" Remake Is All I've Ever Wanted

There are video games, and then there are video games. Video games are great, but video games are genre-defining masterpieces. It should come as little surprise that The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time falls into the latter camp.

Despite releasing nearly 30 years ago now, Ocarina Of Time remains one of the most beloved video games of all time. You would think, then, that we're surely due a remake on Nintendo Switch 2.

While there are no plans to officially remake Ocarina Of Time, at least for the moment, there's one project that's quietly been going on in the background for years now. And it looks more impressive every time I see it.

YouTuber CryZENx has been working on an Unreal Engine remake of the 1998 classic for around six years now, to the extent there are even playable demos available. How Nintendo hasn't shut this one down yet is beyond me, but I'm glad the project has been able to continue. Watching it evolve over the years alongside Unreal Engine has been quite something.
