It truly is giving season. PlayStation is offering up an extra two free titles for gamers to get their hands on in December, marking something of a departure from the norm.
While these two games won't be free for everyone, PlayStation Plus users are getting some serious bang for their buck in December with the addition of not one, but two bonus titles. We absolutely love to see it.
Longtime PlayStation Plus subscribers will know that the PlayStation Plus Essential monthly free games are usually limited to three. Which, to be fair, is more than enough to be getting on with most of the time.
However, PlayStation just announced the free Essential games for December 2025, and it looks like a little something extra has made its way into our stocking. Either PlayStation has forgotten how to count to three, or it's feeling the festive spirit. I reckon the latter.

Not the most Christmassy lineup of games, I grant you. The Outlast Trials is definitely a... choice for the festive season, but Neon White is a banger at any time of year and LEGO Horizon Adventures could be good family fun...
