Pokemon Legends: Z-A's version 1.0.3 patch has been released, fixing a bug introduced with Season 2 that prevented some players from getting their guaranteed Mega Stone rewards from ranked battles. When Pokemon Legends: Z-A first came out, it received online multiplayer support immediately, starting Season 1 of competitive ranked battles with the corresponding Greninjite reward to unlock Mega Greninja in the game. This was obtained upon reaching Rank K, which required a grind of a few hours in ranked battles, but things changed when Season 2 was released on November 5.
With Season 2, Pokemon Legends: Z-A's ranked rewards were changed to Greninjite at Rank Y and Delphoxite at Rank S, making it much easier to get these Mega Stones. However, a bug was inadvertently introduced that made it impossible for some players to get either of these Mega Stones. Greninjite was already unlocked in Season 1 for participants, but for those who still had to get it in Season 2, it was bugged alongside Delphoxite. Fortunately, this didn't affect all players, but those affected finally have a fix with today's new patch.
