Over a decade later, players are still finding secrets in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim that they didn’t encounter during their first playthroughs. There’s a dark secret in a useless Skyrim town, for example, which hints at the presence of Daedric activity in the area – which is unbeffiting of this town’s size and nature.

Now, a player has uncovered a hidden boss encounter in Skyrim, which is a part of the Dragonborn DLC. As seen in user Powerful_Pitch5871’s post on Reddit, the spectral frost giant boss Karstaag is an opponent they had never encountered before, mentioning that they had bested all the bosses in the game. “How did I not know about him?” the player asks in the post, which features an image of Karstaag.
