We're Going To Get Tears Of The Kingdom-Style Vehicle Building In Where Winds Meet

Despite being free-to-play, there's a lot to Where Winds Meet, hence it attracting millions of players in its first few weeks. The team behind it isn't done yet, though, as an elaborate vehicle-building system has just been added to the game.

Refered to as Inkcraft - although that's based on a loose translation from Chinese - the new feature is effectively a vehicle-building sandbox, as first reported by PCGamesN. It looks similar to the house-building mechanics you can find in the game already, except that with these new items and Inkcraft system, you can build everything from standard old cars to elaborate flying machines.

Where Winds Meet introduces players to the new mechanics by showing them how to build a structure it calls a Flying Chicken. You're left to your own devices pretty quickly after that, though, as you're given freedom to start experimenting. If you're anything like me, the most ambitious vehicle you create will be little more than a bit of wood with some wheels glued to its corners, but it seems like people with wilder imaginations and a lot more time and patience will be able to create some pretty special stuff....
