Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will no longer release on mobile this week.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony was meant to release on May 26th for mobile devices. However, that is no longer the case. In a brief post on their website, developer Spike Chunsoft announced that Danganronpa V3 will no longer release for mobile platforms this week. According to the post, a major defect was found in the final check process for the game. The developer did not give a release date or window for the mobile port of Danganronpa V3, but did state that they will inform fans when a new date is decided.

The mobile port for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony was announced last week. It was meant to release this Wednesday, and would set gamers back $16. The port of the game will feature a brand-new user interface with touchscreen controls, allowing dialogue options to be tapped rather than having players scroll through choices. Danganronpa V3's minigames will also see adaptions to touch features. This includes a board game entitled Ultimate Talent Development Plan, which trains creatures for another minigame, entitled Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the last game of the mainline series to be ported over to mobile devices. The first game in the series, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was released for mobile in May of last year. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair was released this past August. All three of the games were adapted to work on mobile platforms, featuring revamped touchscreen controls and more.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony follows the same premise as its predecessors. 16 high school students are trapped in a school, with the only chance of escaping being murder. If a student can murder another and get away with it, they will be released from their prison. If not, they will be executed. Danganronpa V3 added a few new features to the series' formula. Players now have the ability to lie, and can enter Scrum Debates, which has the students divide into two teams and present competing arguments against each other.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and the PlayStation Vita.
