Fortnite's Zero Hour Chapter Finale event hit the airwaves today, and by "airwaves," I mean the game itself. In order to watch/sort of play Chapter 6's big finish (and the wrap-up to The Simpsons' entertaining arc, too), players needed to log into the game, check out the "Discover" zone, click on the correct portion of the screen, and... grab some popcorn, I guess.

Some fans had it easy. They were able to participate in the playable quasi-cinematic with no trouble at all. That's undoubtedly in line with Epic Games' expectations, as who-knows-how-many-dollars were spent on this latest lush sequence, and no company's leadership wakes up in the morning and decides it would be funny if their audience failed to experience the product in any meaningful capacity.

Wait 'til you see the cartridge's condition!

The above video isn't Zero Hour's event finale; it's the fresh teaser for Pacific Break, which is to say, the long-running and profoundly successful live-service phenomenon's seventh chapter. Pacific Break launches several hours from now, as of this writing, following a necessary maintenance period - which, in turn, is following the Chapter 6 grand finale.
