Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney recently proclaimed that Steam should not disclose which games on its platform have been made using generative AI. After all, "AI will be involved in nearly all future production." Why bother, then? Why fight the tide? How dare they? How dare they.

You can choose to link today's Fortnite fandom suspicions to Sweeney's statement; I won't stop you. I'm not saying the two are truly related, but it's hard to deny how poorly-timed this is in the eyes of anybody who has considerable issues with the usage of AI-generated "art" in video games.
