It's been almost 30 years since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time released on the N64. And since that seminal 1998 release, Nintendo has brought the game to its Nintendo Switch Online service, and given us a 3DS remake with some notable improvements. However, nothing comes close to this new reimagined version that has us dreaming of an Ocarina of Time remake made in this style.
As seen on YouTube, RwanLink has created a video showing off a more anime style for Ocarina of Time that has Link going around Gerduo's Fortress (and you can watch it in 4K in all its glory). The video was made in Unreal Engine 5, and it looks amazing, as Link explores one of the most iconic locations from the original game. You can see the full video below.
Over the course of the video, we see Link fighting the Gerudo, hanging out beside Link's trusty horse Epona, and exploring with Navi hovering around him. On nostalgia alone, it's great, but the art style using UE5 really shows us what we're missing by Nintendo not officially having an Ocarina of Time remake that looks this good.
