Reports that GTA 6 could now be pushed back to 2027 have been addressed by a Rockstar Games insider, and it sounds like we can breathe easy for now.
For those that haven't been keeping track, GTA 6 was originally announced to release on May 26, 2026. In October, Rockstar Games confirmed they needed to push the ambitious title back to November 19, 2026, leaving a lot of fans disappointed.
It's worth noting that we can't officially rule out another GTA 6 delay. Anything could happen between now and November 19 next year. Rockstar Games is known for perfectionism, and another delay for a game already releasing so late in the year could easily see it slip into 2027.
The good news is that it's currently too soon to say for sure the game will be delayed again. So anyone trying to suggest it has been? Well, they're likely talking out of their butt.
