Bellwright Expands its Borders Significantly with Maiden Voyage Update

Who doesn’t like a good medieval story, let alone one that’s shaped around the player’s personal experience? Released into Early Access on April 23, 2024, the open-world survival game, Bellwright, is getting its first major update. Titled Maiden Voyage, this expansion looks to expand upon the main game in some big ways. This is a long time coming and looks to improve upon the overall experience in big ways.

Expanding the World

The first and most important aspect is the expansion of the world itself, something that’s getting even larger, along with expanding upon what the player is able to accomplish within the set boundaries.

Donkey Crew has stated that the new portion of the map, Halmare Isles, will be around 25% the size of Bellwright’s core game. This spans over a massive ten square kilometers in size, adding a slew of new content. This includes new story, equipment, animals, buildings and so much more. On top of that, this will also introduce the brand-new Loyalty and Faction system that players will be able to really dig their teeth into.
