We now have an idea on how Guilty Gear Strive's first Season will go.

This past weekend, a special Early Access Showcase event was held for Guilty Gear Strive. During the event, a roadmap for Guilty Gear Strive's first Season was given (via PlayStation LifeStyle). The first DLC character from the first Season Pass will release sometime in July. This character will be entirely new to the franchise. The second character will release in August, and will be a character from past games in the series. The rest of the content that will be included in the first Season Pass will release sometime after fall 2021.

There will also be free content on the way for Strive after it releases. This includes a Combo Maker, which will allow players to upload their personal combos. Other players will be able to download these combos and learn them for themselves. Player Match Rooms will receive additional customization options. Gamers will be able to personalize their Player Match Rooms by changing the room's interior and the decorations. Finally, the Digital Figure Mode will be making a comeback. This mode allows players to make custom digital dioramas using figures of in-game character poses.

Guilty Gear Strive's first Season Pass will be included in the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the title. It will also be available on its own. The Pass will include five new characters, which will be a mix of new and returning characters. The Season Pass will also come with two new stages, as well as five color variations for each character. It will also add new Story Missions. The five characters, Stages, and colors will be available to purchase on their own, though the extra Story Missions will be exclusive to the Season Pass.

Guilty Gear Strive will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on June 11th. The Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game on console will receive three days of early access, beginning on June 8th.
