Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite will be collaborating with the hit Disney+ show Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which will include a brand-new island that promises to give fans of the franchise a unique experience. Fortnite recently released Chapter 7 of the popular battle royale, bringing new features like a self-revive item, drivable reboot van, wingsuits, and surfing to the title. New seasons almost always come with a wide variety of fresh collaborations, which has definitely been the case with Chapter 7 Season 1 so far.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief made its initial debut in 2005 as a novel written by the American author Rick Riordan. The novel kicked off a four-book series called the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles, though the character of Percy Jackson has continued his adventure outside the initial series. After becoming a massive hit, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief was adapted into a film with the same name, making its debut in theaters in 2010.
