The Game Awards 2025 is rapidly approaching its scheduled date on Thursday, December 11, and the usual swirl of rumors has finally caught up to it. The most hotly anticipated tease, however, has been “stirred” by Geoff Keighley and The Game Awards: an ominous statue in the Mojave Desert, which some fans have been trying to connect to Bloodborne.
There isn’t much that’s hypothesized to be on the horizon beyond what fans already know, such as The Elder Scrolls 6, a new Mass Effect game, and at least a couple of entries into Star Wars’ video game landscape. Still, hype rises as fans pray this IRL monolith teases a Game Awards Bloodborne 2 reveal.
Because the desire for a Bloodborne 2 is constantly brimming, it isn’t surprising that FromSoftware’s cosmic horror action-RPG has had its name thrown into the mix of what game or IP The Game Awards’ statue tease may be referencing.
