The highly anticipated conclusion to the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy, which began with 2020's FF7 Remake and continued with 2024's FF7 Rebirth, is coming close to having an official title. However, it's worth keeping in mind that this is largely internal, and fans will still have a long wait until they themselves know.
Luckily, it seems it won't take longer for some fans to play it than others. While Final Fantasy 7 Remake and FF7 Rebirth both released on PlayStation consoles first, series director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed in September that the final part of the FF7 Remake trilogy will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. And while the final part is still some years away, it's nice to see how Square Enix has continued to keep fans informed.
According to the trilogy's director, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 has an internal release date, but Square Enix is reluctant to share.
