With Baldur's Gate 3's absolutely stratospheric success since its release back in 2023, many fans have been champing at the bit to see what developers at Larian Studios have planned next. While they made it perfectly clear that they would not be handling Baldur's Gate 4, many players have speculated that a new Divinity game might be on the table—and a new report suggests they might be right.

According to reports, a newly registered trademark has been discovered (via MP1st) that confirms Baldur's Gate 3 developers at Larian Studios are set to announce a new Divinity game at The Game Awards 2025. The registered imagery is unmistakably associated with the Divinity franchise, and by extension, Larian Studios.

Publishing Director for Larian Studios, Michael Douse, has stated on X that there are "currently no plans for a Divinity Original Sin 3 game," but the registered images indicate that the announcement is certainly Divinity-related, and unquestionably connected to the Geoff Keighley statue.
