There’s an “exciting” lineup for Xbox Game Pass in 2026, according to a teaser for the brand’s 25th anniversary next year. A few months ago, the subscription service underwent an overhaul to its structure, which divided it into tiers. For example, the new Ultimate tier is the one that features day-one releases, like Death Howl, while the Premium tier sees older releases like Lost Records on Xbox Game Pass.
The next year is also already looking promising, especially with the prospect of a 25th anniversary celebration. In an interview with the BBC, Xbox’s Vice President of Next Generation, Jason Ronald, talked about the future of the brand and how the anniversary may impact Xbox Game Pass. “I can’t announce anything today,” said Ronald in response to a question about bringing more original Xbox titles to the subscription service. “But in 2026, it’s the 25th [sic] anniversary of Xbox.”
