Riot Games and UVS Games have announced that Riftbound will expand its supported languages in the next year. Currently available in English and Simplified Chinese, the trading card game will also be available in French starting midyear 2026.

Riftbound: A League of Legends TCG To Play Physically

Riftbound is a physical trading card game based on Riot Games' popular League of Legends franchise, which started with the well-known MOBA game but has expanded into other media formats ever since. The TCG was released in English earlier in 2025 and features the champions and many other iconic elements of Runeterra which fans will appreciate seeing.

While the experience is meant to foster a competitive format, Riftbound is based on accessible mechanics that should make it easy to understand for newcomers. Matches are meant to be fast while requiring players to make many strategic decisions to take down the opposing player.

It's possible to play it in 1v1, 2v2 or 4-person free-to-play modes, each of which may have different synergies and strategies to explore. So far, the game's first set, Origins, has been released in English with the second one, Spiritforged, planned for 2026....
