Aspyr Media, the studio behind the highly anticipated Deus Ex Remastered, has just announced that the updated version of Ion Storm’s immersive cyberpunk title has officially suffered a delay.
Deus Ex Remastered Slips Back Into Stealth Mode
In a statement released on X (formerly Twitter), the developers of Deus Ex Remastered revealed that the game has been delayed indefinitely. So, at this time, the team is not providing a new release date.
As for the reason for the delay, according to the studio, it is that they heard what the community had to say and made the decision to postpone the project in order to “better meet expectations and deliver the best possible experience to players”.
In case you don’t remember, its announcement trailer was received with heavy criticism from players regarding the graphics, with many fans calling it “awful” and with a “plastic filter”, meaning that they will probably address these concerns....
