A roadmap has been released for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
Capcom has released a post-launch roadmap for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin (via GameSpot). According to the roadmap, there will be five free content updates through the month of October. The first update will release the week after the game launches on July 15th. This update will add a new Monstie: Palamute.
The second update will drop in August. On August 5th, the second free update will release, and will add the Co-Op Quest exclusive monster Kulve Taroth. It will also add two new Monsties: Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos. Two updates will release in September, one early on in the month, the second at the end of the month. The first update will add three new Monsties: Soulseer Mizutsune, Elderfrost Gammoth, and Oroshi Kirin. The second September update will add two new Monsties: Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex. It will also add the high difficulty version of the Co-Op Quest exclusive monster Kulve Taroth.
The final update seen on the Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin roadmap will release in October. The update will add a mysterious high difficulty Co-Op Quest exclusive monster. It will also add two new Monsties: Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian.
For those who wish to try out Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin can do so on the Nintendo Switch. The free demo allows gamers to play the beginning of the title, and will allow them to transfer their save data should they purchase the full game. If players have save data from the Trial Version, they can receive the Kinship Talisman in Monster Hunter Rise. This talisman will be able to activate the Monster Mounter and Wide-Range skills.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will release on July 9th for PC and the Nintendo Switch.
