Yesterday, Dispatch lead developer and AdHoc co-founder Nick Herman sent the community on a wild goose chase for a hidden fourth ending that nobody had reached yet. Well, sort of. A month ago, fans found the ending in the files, and assumed it was cut content.

In an extensive post breaking down every single ending and how to reach them, u/Amannymanman explained that there is a hidden ending called "Tactician", which appears in the game's files alongside a picture of Robert at his desk in SDN uniform. Based on the strings of code they uncovered, it seems that you must complete all 26 hacks to reach it, tying into the "H4ck3d by R0b3rt" achievement, but plenty have tried this to no avail.

Herman teased that the ending required completing all non-RNG elements, corroborating these findings.

Jumping off from Herman's comments, players had all sorts of ideas on what might lead to this uber-secret ending, from sending the perfect hero on every mission to ignoring all of the dispatch calls for a whopping zero percent success rate. But none of the datamines supported these theories, and the truth was sitting right...
