Pokémon GO's Ultra Unlock Part Three Event Will Begin On August 20th

Details for Pokémon GO's third part of the Ultra Unlock event have been released. 

On the Pokémon GO blog, details for part three of the game's Ultra Unlock event were released. The event will begin on August 20th, and will run until August 31st. During the event, Pokémon from Pokémon Sword and Shield will be making their debut in the mobile title. Zacian and Zamazenta will be featured, while Skwovet, Greedent, Wooloo, Dubwool, and Falinks will be arriving in Pokémon GO. Players may also run into a Shiny Galarian Meowth, Galarian Farfetch'd, Galarian Weezing, or Galarian Stunfisk. 

During the third part of the Ultra Unlock event, Skwovet and Wooloo will appear in the wild often, along with Galarian Darumaka, Trubbish, and more. Galarian Meowth, Galarian Ponyta, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Farfetch'd, Galarian Zigzagoon, Galarian Darumaka, and Galarian Stunfisk will hatch from 7 km Eggs. Completing event-exclusive Timed Research will give players a chance to encounter Pokémon first discovered in the Galar region. Starting on August 19th, uniforms that appear in the Galar region will be available as avatar items. This includes the Gym Challenger Uniform, which players can pick up for free. Starting on August 20th, event-exclusive Gift stickers will be available. They can be obtained by spinning Photo Discs at PokeStops and Gyms. 

There will be special raids during both weeks of the third part of the Ultra Unlock event. Week one will begin on August 20th, and will last until August 26th. During this time, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Farfetch'd, Unown U, and Galarian Zigzagoon will appear in one-star raids, with a chance of encountering a shiny Farfetch'd or Unown U. Galarian Weezing, Lapras, and Falinks will appear in three-star raids, with there being a chance of finding a Shiny Galarian Weezing. Zacian will appear in its Hero of Many Battles form in five-star raids. Finally, Mega Beedrill will appear in Mega Raids. 

The second week of special raids will begin on August 26th, and will last until September 1st. Galarian Meowth, Galarina Ponyta, Unown U, and Galarian Darumaka will appear in one-star raids, Snorlax, Galarian Stunfisk, and Falinks will appear in three-star raids. Zamazenta in its Hero of Many Battles form will show up in five-star raids. Finally, Mega Pidgeot will appear in Mega Raids.
