You've probably heard about the ongoing investigation of a newly-discovered mystery in Red Dead Redemption 2. After seven years, the community has uncovered a grand conspiracy that it's been been gradually unravelling over the last couple of weeks.
Well, if you were worried that the whole thing is a wild goose chase, as is often the case with video game mysteries, worry no more. Adam Butterworth—who worked as a QA tester on Red Dead Redemption 2, and now works at Remedy Entertainment—recently confirmed that the mystery is actually something Rockstar set up while developing the game.
"Absolutely wild people have found this," writes Butterworth. "I remember hearing about this and thinking it would never be discovered."
