On the PlayStation Blog, it was announced that five Final Fantasy titles are coming to PlayStation now. The games will be released over the next five months. The first game is the original Final Fantasy VII. The game will be available starting on September 7th. Players will take the role of Cloud as he joins a resistance group called AVALANCHE, whose motives he cares little for. However, the group learns of the return of Sephiroth, Cloud's nemesis, and the great danger he is bringing to the planet.

The next Final Fantasy title coming to PlayStation Now is Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. The game will be available on October 5th. In Final Fantasy VIII, it is a time of war, as The Republic of Galbadia mobilizes its armies against the other nations of the world under the influence of sorceress Edea. Gamers will play as Squall and other members of SeeD, an elite mercenary squad, as they join hands with Rinoa, a resistance fighter, in order to fight back against Galbadia and prevent Edea from fulfilling her ultimate goal.

Next up is Final Fantasy IX, which will be available starting on November 2nd. After an accidental encounter in the kingdom of Alexandria brings Zidane, Vivi and Garnet together, they set out on a journey that will lead them to discover the secrets of their past, the crystal, and a place to call home.

December will bring Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster to PlayStation Now. The collection will be available starting on the 7th. Final Fantasy X takes players to Spira, a world terrorized by a monster called Sin. Yuna, a young summoner from the town of Besaid, embarks on a pilgrimage to defeat the monster. Tidus, a young man from another world, joins Yuna on her journey as her guardian. The mysteries that surround Sin unfold as they set off to save the world from the beast.

The last Final Fantasy game coming to PlayStation Now is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. It will be available starting on January 4th, 2022. In Final Fantasy XII, players will be sent to an era of war in the world of Ivalice. The small kingdom of Dalmasca, which has been conquered by the Archadian Empire, is left in ruin and uncertainty.
