The Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 6 is here, adding a ton of content to the game in the form of the Sorcerer Class and opening up the Underdark some with a new region, Grymforge.
The Sorcerer Class is likely what most players will scramble to check out, with new spells added to the game. With unique sublcasses in Wild Magic and Draconic Bloodline, Sorcerers will have a lot to add to the game.
Wild Magic lets you gain advantage on rolls, but with the risk of a random effect triggering as well. Developer Larian Studios gave the example of random effects like summoning hostile enemies or folk around you on fire. Draconic Bloodline, as the name implies, grants you powers based on your dragon heritage, giving you access to fire, lightning, acid, poison, or cold damage.
If you just want to check out more of the game with a class you're familiar with, the new Grymforge region in the Underdark has you covered. Here, you'll have access to new quests and a fortress to explore.
Beyond that, there are a ton of fixes, balance changes, and a ton of other improvements in Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 6. You can find the full list here.
Baldur's Gate 3 is still in development, but you can play it now by purchasing the game if you wish. There's no release set for the game yet, but Larian Studios is hopeful for sometime next year. Obviously, there's still a lot of work to be done and a ton of things that could change, so keep a close eye out for more information.
