Easily one of the most anticipated games coming this year, likely only surpassed by Elden Ring, we now have the God of War Ragnarok review embargo details.

The review embargo for God of War Ragnarok is set for November 3rd at 9:00 a.m. PST. Head over to the God of War Ragnarok page for all of the reviews!

You likely noticed that the review embargo for God of War Ragnarok is nearly a week ahead of the game's release, which is on November 9th. Usually, that means the publisher/developer has a very high confidence in the quality of the game they're putting out. They had this same confidence with God of War back in 2018, which also had a review embargo about a week out. How did that pan out? Well, God of War is currently the 6th best reviewed game of all time on OpenCritic, sitting at a 94 Top Critic Average.

God of War Ragnarok is a direct sequel to 2018's God of War, seeing the return of Kratos and Atreus as they go on another journey together. They travel to each of the nine realms in preparation for a battle that ends the world, the fabled Ragnarok. Along the way Atreus learns more about the "Loki" prophecy and what that means for him. God of War Ragnarok promises to be a tale told on a much bigger scale, with a ton of mythical landscapes to explore on the pair's journey.

God of War Ragnarok releases November 9th on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
