Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth had a lot of minigames, whether you think that's a good thing or a bad thing. There are almost too many minigames to handle in Rebirth, though whether you love or hate them, most people tend to agree that Queen's Blood is a pretty great card game. It swept the Final Fantasy community like a storm, and has now been added to the series' rather impressive pile of quite decent card games, such as Triple Triad and Tetra Master.
Understandably, many were hoping that Queen's Blood would return for the final part of the trilogy, and director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed on a few occasions that it will. However, it may look a little different than what it looked like in Rebirth, as Hamaguchi has explained in a recent interview with Polygon that it will be "enhanced" and "powered-up" when we next see it.
"I want to expand on Queen’s Blood so that we are enhancing it, and giving you a more powered-up version of it when you see that third installment… Queen’s Blood is still going to be available in the third installment. We just want to expand on it."
Of course, Polygon...
