Hot off the heels of 2024's excellent Silent Hill 2 remake (and 2025's pretty good Cronos: The New Dawn), Bloober Team has tilted its reputation from formerly middling to presently sterling. It seems like their journey into remakes won't end with James Sunderland and the upcoming return to the original Silent Hill—at least, not if the suspicions of a veritable legion of fans prove accurate.
Bloober Team is teasing something big. The reveal date? February 14. Known throughout the world as my half-birthday Valentine's Day, the day instantly brings to mind the gifting of flowers, especially roses. Does this lock in a remake of 2006's controversial survival horror title, Rule of Rose? Nah. Does the existence of a poem on the website make it slightly likelier? Yeah! Sure! And do plenty of people think it's definitely, absolutely, this? Yup!
