Call of Duty is no stranger to pop culture collaborations, having joined forces with the likes of The Boys, Mobile Suit Gundam, Attack on Titan and professional athletes, like Lionel Messi, on outfit and weapon bundles. In the same way that Fortnite players can witness Goku and Spider-Man team up against The Weeknd, Call of Duty players can join forces with the Armored Titan dressed as Homelander. It's just another example of gaming's increased reach in recent years.
That said, while it was rumored that the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie was going to be CoD's latest collab, that won't be the case. Instead, the first-person shooter franchise will be joining forces with WWE to help bring some of its popular wrestlers into the shooter space. On Friday, the long-running franchise shared the initial teaser trailer on Twitter. In it, a professional wrestling ring can be seen, as well as the silhouettes of what will presumably be the three superstars in the game.
