It's no secret that CD Projekt Red has several projects in the works at the moment. That's because, after transforming Cyberpunk: 2077 from a potential box-office bust to once-in-a-generation gold, the Polish studio is currently working on a Cyberpunk sequel, another entry in The Witcher franchise, as well as a remake of the first Witcher title. Oh, and there's some other stuff happening, too. In other words, they're a busy lot.
And while it's clear that there are several projects actively in the work, what is less clear is which of them exactly fans will see first. However, it looks like fans have received their first bit of news regarding these projects. In an appearance on the Flow Games podcast, Paweł Sasko, CD Projekt Red's associate game director on Cyberpunk 2077 and its upcoming sequel, revealed that The Witcher 4 is the project that is furthest along.
