Nintendo's Emio Reportedly Isn't Being Developed By Bloober Team

Nintendo's Emio reportedly doesn't have anything to do with Bloober Team, which furthers the idea that it's a first-party project coming straight from the Big N itself.

Nintendo has already had a much stronger month than most of us were expecting from the seemingly final year of the Switch's life, but it looks like it has plenty more surprises up its sleeve that don't fit into a Nintendo Direct. Earlier this week, Nintendo randomly dropped a teaser for a creepy game called "Emio", which seems to be a first-party horror game.

The Switch recently beat the NES' record as the Nintendo console to go the longest without a successor.

Although the surprise reveal and Nintendo Japan website had most people thinking that Emio was coming from Nintendo itself, rumours started popping up that suggested that it could be part of a collaboration between Nintendo and Bloober Team, best known for The Medium and the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake.
