Starfield Coming to PS5 On April 7 With Special DualSense Support

One of the last big Xbox Series X/S console exclusives is making the jump to lightspeed, as Bethesda has announced that Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5 on April 7, with special DualSense features and a significant content update.

Starfield was promoted as Bethesda's next big franchise, leaving behind The Elder Scrolls and Fallout for a series that took to the stars in a universe that wasn't quite as bleak. Unfortunately, the critical response was a little more mixed, with players taking issue with the lack of variety, disjointed travel between planets, and the lack of a motivation to actually go out into the universe.

There have been rumors circulating of a PS5 port of Starfield since it first launched on Xbox Series X/S, and that time has now arrived. The official PlayStation Blog has announced that Starfield is coming to PS5 on April 7, 2026, alongside the Free Lanes Update, and the Terran Armada story DLC.
