Elden Ring Fans Debate Most Evil Demigod, Universally Agree On Rykard

Elden Ring is back, baby. For the past month, Elden Ring fever has gripped the gaming world once again, thanks to the release of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Everyone's favourite noble steed has a good reason to be afraid of the Abyssal Woods.

The near-perfect expansion, which sees players explore the Land of Shadow, has kicked up debate after debate, the latest of which sees players discussing which of the game's Demigods are the most evil. The answer, which was almost unanimous, was Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy.

The quote I used for my subheading is probably a bit of an understatement. Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, got his name and the popular vote by "murdering people," having an "evil lava volcano lair," "eating people," and using a "sword made of corpses." He was by far the most popular pick, "giving himself over to the God-Devouring Serpent while dragging down everyone around him and rendering the battlegrounds between the forces of Volcano Manor and Leyndell so hellish that it drove the survivors mad."

Almost every commenter in the Reddit thread ranked Rykard right at the top, however, the battle for second place was slightly more heated.
